BioMould

Application:

BioMould® is a ready to use preparation made of propionic acid and formic acid to
preserve grains, ground grains and feed mixes.
BioMould® is also safe and value for money because the costly drying process is
unnecessary. The temporary storage which is normally necessary for grains is no
longer required and the grains can be used immediately as feed.

BioMould® is produced following a special procedure . The content material is held in
micro-granules like in a sponge and is released slowly into the feed. Because the
acids are found in the core of the micro-granules and not, like with other
preparations, applied to the surface of the carrier material they do not come
immediately into contact with the skin upon use. The carrier material Vermiculite
releases the acids mainly as gas, so that the acid vapours are equally distributed
throughout the product to be preserved. Moulds are killed.
BioMould® steadily releases the acids during the entire storage period and therefore
offers safe and long lasting protection against a renewed attack of mould. The
combination of propionic acid and formic acid has a positive influence on the taste of
the feed, resulting in an increased feed intake and value.
